Dusting beautiful men in powder and then smearing them in oil is becoming a recurring theme for me and it seems to bring out something primal in them. They feel sexy, they laugh, they really seem to enjoy it and it brings out some really good visuals. Jim really wanted to use purple and it is a colour that photographs well so of course I said yes. Over the course of the shoot we just kept adding more oil and more powder.
